About Christians at work - we are 'On Call' for everyone.
We are very much a part of the Christian Church of God and welcome men and women who are already working in a form of Christian Ministry, ordained or not, who believe that the future of Christianity relies heavily on creating a useful and relevant Christian presence within communities where otherwise there may not be one.
We do not indoctrinate or attempt to 'convert' anyone with our own denomination and all that comes with dogma and doctrine - but instead, represent a faith-presence steeped in Christian action. Members may well be aligned to their own theology and faith roots - but this is irrelevant to the mission of being wherever we are needed.
Members are first and foremost accountable to God and help and support each other by maintaining the motto 'Sow The Seed' of Christianity.
So where would you find us - and where might we be needed?
Where you won't find us is in church only on a Sunday! We are active within our communities. We work in Care Homes, Specialist Clubs and Associations, Armed Forces Chaplaincies, County Shows, Charitable Fund Raising activities and helping out organisations who lack funds but desperately need hands-on help.
We actively encourage celebrating home communion with people or if needed, we take Holy Communion into Care Homes and hospitals. The ordained ministers are also available for the blessing of marriages if the mainstream have turned them down or if couples choose not to marry within a church, the baptism of children and adults and the final loving duty of leading prayer at a funeral service.
